What to expect when we are installing in your Right of Way or Multi Dwelling Unit
When we connect apartments, units or properties in a shared driveway to our fibre network, we have to do some build work in areas that are shared by multiple residents.
As each case is different, there will be different levels of work required. We will assess what needs to be done in the driveway or building to deliver fibre and based on that we allocate the work into one of three categories. The category allocation is determined based on the impact it has on the surrounding properties. If you or one of your neighbours has ordered fibre, you will receive a letter detailing the work we need to do in your building or shared driveway, including which category that work is classed as.
In addition to notifying you of our planned work we will also give you written notification the week prior to installation work commencing.
While the work is happening, there will be vehicles and equipment, and people working around your property. We’ll aim to make as little disruption as possible and thank you in advance for your patience.
While we’re busy upgrading your neighbourhood, it’s important we work together to keep everyone safe. It would be great if you can please help us with these things:
- • Stay away from taped off areas
- • Ensure children are supervised if outside your property
- • Trim back any tree and shrubs that overhang the boundary
- • Ensure your vehicles are not parked on or across the work area
- • Stay off the fresh soil as it likely has grass seed trying to grow
Once your driveway work has been completed, households will be able to get connected the ultrafast fibre network. - Contact your internet provider of choice and ask for fibre
- Register your interest today and we will arrange for your internet provider of choice to contact you.
