DIY Fibre Duct installation
Terms and conditions

1. Tuatahi First Fibre Limited (we, us or our) will provide the fibre micro duct (duct) to you at no cost up to a maximum of 1000m per premises.
2. You, or any party you engage to install the duct on your behalf must locate any other utility services before completing any work and are responsible for installing the duct and obtaining the necessary consents and permissions. You must do this at your cost.
3. You will complete installation of the duct within 3 months of receiving it unless otherwise agreed with us or return the duct to us.
4. Once installed, the duct shall form part of Tuatahi First Fibre's fibre infrastructure network (network). We retain ownership of the duct and network.
5. On receipt of your request, we will contact you to arrange delivery of the duct to your premises and explain its use. If we are unable to contact you after at least three attempts, we may cancel your request.
6. The duct is provided to you on the condition that you will install the duct:
a) within a Tuatahi First Fibre service area (you can check if your address is within the Tuatahi First Fibre service area here);
b) for the purpose of connecting a premises to the Tuatahi First Fibre network; and
c) in accordance with our installation guide which may be found on our website.
7. If the duct you receive is faulty, please contact us to arrange a replacement.
8. You must record where you have laid the duct and provide this information to us if we request it.
9. You are responsible for any damage caused to our network and any third-party property during the installation process. You agree to meet the reasonable costs in remediating such damage.
10. A connection charge may still apply for non-standard installations. Check with your internet service provider for information on this.
11. We may modify these terms outlined on this page at any time. Modified terms become effective 30 days after such notice.
