Outage in Bay of Plenty fibre network – We’re working fast to get you back on line

Post-installation terms

Current as at: November 2024

End user terms

Prior to our team installing our network at your property, you (or you with the permission of a relevant third party) agreed to be bound by our End User Terms, which apply at all times while our network equipment is located on your property.

Important

Tuatahi First Fibre is the owner of the network. Your retail service provider is who you receive your broadband services from. You will need to work with your retail service provider in relation to your services and your retail service provider’s equipment (including any monitored alarms, medical alarms, EFTPOS machines, modems, routers, etc.) for which we are not responsible. We may connect your retail service provider’s equipment, and if you have any questions or issues with that equipment you must contact your retail service provider.

Use of existing assets

If you gave us consent to use any existing conduit, ducts or other assets you own, we are not liable to you for any loss or disruption to any services, or any other loss you incur, if we agreed to make use of your assets and you will indemnify us for any third party claims relating to our use of those assets.

Reinstatement

As soon as reasonably practicable after the installation of our network equipment and/or the connection of your service, we will reinstate the parts of your property where the installation work was carried out to as near as possible as to its original state of repair (except to the extent that it is not practical to do so) and leave those areas in a clean and tidy state.

Future work at your property

If you want to perform any exterior or interior work at your property anywhere our network is located or which requires our network to be relocated, removed or replaced, you must contact your retail service provider before you start any work, and you will not commence that work without our prior consent. You will be liable for the costs to complete that work or repair any damage to our network caused by any work you (or any person you ask to) perform.

Privacy notice

You agree that we will collect personal information from you for the purposes of processing your order, informing you about the benefits of using our network and relevant survey (which are not compulsory for you to complete). For more information: www.tuatahifibre.co.nz/privacy
